Mörkö Engineering’s approach for algorithm aided structural engineering:
Case: Biomass boiler building steel frame

We are enthusiastic about being able to serve our clients better in their concurrent engineering projects with faster iteration and the ability to find the best possible structural system, that will satisfy the ever-changing requirements of a challenging multi-disciplinary engineering project.

To achieve this, we are continuously developing our own approach, and software, for algorithm aided structural engineering and parametric models. The software is not for sale: it only exists to help us help our clients as an Engineering Company.

The ultimate challenge for algortihm aided structural steel design in lies in algorithm-powered workshop detailing and automatic generation of workshop manufacruting drawings (or whatever manufacturing data future workshops may require).

The internal data structure of Teräs-Pertti is designed to give us a rock-solid base for taking the challenge, and we expect more and more awesome results incrementally during the 2020's.
